I gave the kerui smart fingerprint padlock 4 out of 5 stars. setup was simple, fingerprint recognition works well most of the time, and the waterproof design is reassuring for outdoor use. build quality feels solid and secure. occasionally it takes a second attempt, but overall it's a reliable smart padlock.

The operation is quite manual, so you have to read the manual. It's not in Japanese, so I'll translate it, but it's easier to convert Chinese to Japanese using DeepL instead of English. It's not that complicated, so once you get the hang of it, it's easy. The fingerprint recognition was quite fast and accurate. It's a bit annoying when opening it, and it's heavy. I still don't know how long the battery lasts, but it's been holding up for about 5 days so far.
Product is solid and easy to configure. fingerprint recognition is average, not always great. backup opening method configuration ("morse code") is cumbersome, did not manage to do it.
I've ordered so many of these things that ali-shit-head has raised the price on them 25%. yeah, i've bought 6 of them at $8 ea. and now they're almost $11 ea. i single handedly influenced a global market from my own personal demand of a product. it's not like i was buying gold or stock, it's just a cheap padlock with stolen biometric technology.
The goods were shipped quickly and arrived within the delivery time.
